Dragonfly Psychiatry

True wellness requires a broader perspective than a standard clinical setting often allows. At Dragonfly Psychiatry, we move beyond “one-size-fits-all” models to offer precision-based care that is as adaptable and multifaceted as the individuals we serve.

About Dr. Juntira Laothavorn

My approach to psychiatry is rooted in the belief that every person deserves to be seen, heard, and deeply understood. I am a double Board-Certified Psychiatrist in General and Addiction Psychiatry with over a decade of experience spanning the globe.

After completing my medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine and an addiction psychiatry fellowship at Emory University, I’ve worked in settings ranging from the front lines of street medicine to the public health system in New Zealand. These experiences taught me that true mental wellness requires a broader perspective than a standard clinical setting often allows.

As a mother of two and a professional, I know firsthand the complexities of modern life. I founded Dragonfly Psychiatry to offer a different experience: one that is as personalized as the clients I serve, providing intentional, precision-based care that integrates evidence-based medicine with lifestyle optimization.
